Jonathan Rosenberg

Jonathan served as Senior Vice President at Google and ran the Google product team until April 2011. Today Jonathan is an advisor to Alphabet management.


Prior to joining Google, Jonathan held leadership positions at Excite@Home, Apple Computer, and Knight Ridder Information Services. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Claremont McKenna College, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.


Jonathan and I met as students at Terman Junior High in Palo Alto and have been friends ever since.  We are the co-authors of the books How Google Works and Trillion Dollar Coach

Maureen Taylor

Maureen is the CEO of SNP Communications, which she co-founded in 1992.  SNP is an industry leader for content, coaching, and creativity. 

Maureen developed an infatuation for Aristotle while teaching in the Communication Studies Department at San Francisco State University. His mandate to search the world for the good people and help them make their truths persuasive became the foundation of SNP.

Now, she helps leaders, founders, and innovators in all sectors around the world face their biggest challenges. 

I met and worked with Maureen a few times during my Google years, and I'm now proud to be part of SNP's Global Faculty.  

Eric Potterat

Eric is a Performance Sport & Clinical Psychologist and a retired U.S. Navy Commander.  While in the Navy, he served as the Head Psychologist for the SEALs, responsible for their mental assessment, selection, development, enhancement and mental toughness programs.  

Eric is currently the Director of Specialized Performance Programs for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and has also served as the Performance Psychologist for Red Bull and for the US Women's National Soccer Team.  Eric has worked with thousands of top performers and leaders from the military, sports, business, and first responder worlds. 

Eric and I are co-authors of the forthcoming book, Learned Excellence, to be published by Harper Collins in Feb, 2024.

Maya Kulycky


Maya is Vice President for Strategy and Operations at Google Research, responsible for accelerating research and fostering an exceptional research environment. 


Maya deeply enjoys working with visionary teams that are trying to understand and solve the world’s problems with the help of technology. She is a lawyer and former journalist who spent ten years on the African continent - in South Africa and Kenya.


In her free time Maya gets to spend time with her two sons discussing strategy, geopolitics, building partnerships, communications, developing markets, transforming operations, and food.


Maya and I became friends a few years ago, then worked together as colleagues at Google.
